Super solid show! Great playing and good sound. Nobody ever says anything about "Higgins." This is a sweet tune and this version is great. Download and listen for yourself...peace.

Subject: Heavier UM show but still good!
This show is a bit heavier then most their other shows, however, UM needs to have a rockin show every now and then. This one makes the exception... Good show, good sound quality, diff. from others, but I say that in a good way. HURT BIRD BATH (sssiiiiiiccccckkkk) is a killer on this one...

first set is a rocker.
the 22 minute Hurt Bird Bath is one of the early highlihgts of '06. Some crazy exploration. The 2nd set stew out of Visions is fantastic as well. Highly recommended. Top 3 shows of their late winter jaunt...

So many great things could be said about this show. Was it heavy? Yer god damn right it was! It was what it needed to be.

One of the tapers mentioned to me how he felt that UM was gonna explode that night for various reasons that he went into. He knew it was time to blow off steam. He couldn't have been more correct.

This particular source has an excellent up-front feel to it. Very loud and clear. Not muddy or distorted. Maybe not as full as some desire but the bass still comes across strong.

Thanks scottt for this fantastic recording and thank you UM for a killer show that I'll never forget.

I have to post a review b/c I have already heard rumors that this show was not a favorite of most. I have heard that some deemed to0 "heavy". As this was only my second UM show I may not of the credentials to be too critical of the fans or the music, but I think this was an excellent show. I really enjoyed the heavyness of the jams. I spent most of the night just watching Jake and Brendan bounce guitar riffs back and forth. Entire 1st rocked my socks off. Don't pass this show up!!! Embrace the heavy rock of the night and the good vibes they created.
